In the founders’ own apartment, design becomes both playground and manifesto: an ever-growing collection of pieces and ideas that together form a lively home.
Balancing the Altbau’s historic framework with a modern way of living meant rethinking the layout to open up flow and light. Shifting walls and introducing subtle architectural gestures created generous sightlines and a calmer rhythm. The original parquet was preserved as a warm anchor, while freed brick walls and glass-partitioned openings provide a textured contrast to sophisticated design pieces, authentic artworks, and large-scale statement photography. Lush greenery threads through the rooms, softening the architecture and adding a sense of vitality. Bespoke elements ensure every detail feels both intentional and personal. The result is a home that honors its historic character while evolving fluidly with each new addition.
